Place is comfortable and quiet in the Tower section I stayed in. Bed is easy to fall asleep in.
The one thing that was bad, a roach was found in a breakfast! Really killed what was other wise a pleasent experience. The manager did come to the table and expressed concerns and such, but it really stopped me from dining there the rest of the trip.
The room was decent and staff members where nice. The fact that there is a casino and dinning area even makes it very good. It is also located on a bus route. Nice furniture and large table to eat and dresser for make up, within the room
It is very difficult to find enterance to the hotel rooms and elevators, if there for the first time. The lotions and soap are also low grade quality; better fragrance and higher grade would be well appreciates. The TV has very limited channels, not enough even basic channels was available for viewing. What's the deal with that? And the CNN channel was very blurry too.
Its a small hotel & Casino relative to the monsters on the strip. Its cosy, everything is near by, enough slots and table games. Their comp is one of the best in Las Vegas. Have been at this place many times and will be back. Only one set-back=the pool is rather small but since not too many guests make use of it its no great problem. The hot tub is compensating.
The Bougainville Cafe serves good food and too big portions but the wait to get served is terribly long. Sometimes you wait 15 minutes before a waiter even asks you what you would like.
The food there was TERIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
Away from the intensity of The Strip. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were simple but adequate - good value. Everything we wanted (and would find in the traditional Vegas hotels) were present. The location was close enough to The Strip to be able to walk but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Free Airport shuttle and free wifi were major issue in choosing Terrible'S.
The price of eating was very reasonable but the food is standard 'diner' fare, not gourmet. Portions were large, the buffet (used only once during the 5-day stay) was very good with a wide selection and everything was fresh. Fine dining is not available.
The shuttle pickup from the airport- right on a bus stop
they stopped giving free internet (wireless). Not such a great idea, stopping it.
Having a shuttle to the airport is a great asset. I would stay there again even when on business.
Restraunt upstairs was very good and cheap
The air fresher scent that was throught out the hotel. It was very strong and over powering and the casino was very smokey
The price, location to airport and shuttle service to airport.
Hallways were in need of rennovations plus it is part of a casino.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room were superior. It is a quiet, but friendly place to stay. I will stay there again. Kai and Cheryl, who worked in the Cafe were excellent.
The Cafe upstairs was convenient, and mostly affordable. The wait time to be seated, at times was lengthy, even though there was no one else in line. Some of the food was below standards as far as tastes. The Turkey burger was too thin and had some strange seasoning on top which overpowered the flaovr of the meat. The Bun was thick and the hamburger too thin...should be the other way around. The pancakes for 99 cents were the best value. Coffee too expensive for a casino restaurant.
I have nothing good to say about my experience with Terribles Hotel and Casino.
The Staff was horrible and rude. The room I stayed in did not have hot water, only warm. When asked to switch rooms, they told me they could not. I personally have stayed in a few other hotels that was very good for the price and have had a great and comfortable experience. I would not recommend this Terribles Hotel & Casino.
reasonable price and easy access to room and attractions
The room was cozy and clean, very good value for money.
The hotel staff did not explained how to use the lift, another hotel guest helped me with that and told me, that she was staying in this hotel several times and they never explain, that you have to insert your room card ant then push the floor button. They cancelled my reservation because my credit card limit was exceeded without informing me or booking. Com about that. Fortunately, they still had free rooms at the time of my arrival, so the problem was solved. We got a smoking room instead a non-smoking.
The upper floors in the tower are some of the quietest in LV. Casino is fun and parking in the garage is convenient. Buffet is good, but simple.
See my previous remarks. Pool area and restaurant good value. But buffet part food usually only warm and not that brilliant. Bourganville cafe usually better but service can be very slow. Always more tables then staff. Can queue 10-15mins and see 7/8 empty tables.
Smoke...should have called it smokey Joe,S. Whole of the ground floor and casino thick with cigarette smoke. We had booked two visits 2 days..weeks tour and back for 5 days. First visit we had 1st floor old room..corridor was in poor condition but room was okay if a bit tired in need of an update. 2Nd visit we asked for the $10 a night upgrade to one of the premier rooms. We were on the ground floor, had to put towels at the bottom of the door to stop the smoke coming through the inch gap. The room was no better than the standard room...fortunately they didn,t charge us for the upgrade? If you are a non smoker...go elsewhere
